Sticking Feathers Up Your Butt Does Not Make You A Chicken

Many people try yo portray themselves one way around certain people and act totally different at other times. This is never more prevalent then on sunday. If you are a beer drinking biker then be a beer drinking biker. You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. Don't be afraid to be a christian or a republican. Neither are bad. Just because it is unpopular doesn't mean you shouldn't be proud of who you are.

I never understood why people put on a suit and try to act like a perfect little angel on Sundays. Then they look down on pwople who still go to church every Sunday but don't dress up in a suit. They think that they are a better christian than everyone because they dress nicer. There is nothing in the bible that says you have to dress up for church. It's time people are judged on what they do, not what they look like.

The fact is that almost no one can be summed up by a phrase like "beer drinking biker" or "christian" or "Republican". It's when we start trying to hang a name on who or what we are that the trouble starts--because no matter what phrase we come up with, there will always be pieces that don't seem to fit the label. And that's fine. Let's just throw out the need to define ourselves and get on with being instead of naming.
