Most people today have forgotten there is a price for freedom. Numerous people have died for the wonderful county we live in. I know the United States is perfect but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. We have the right to voice our opinion here. If you don't think that is a big deal you should go live in the desert for a while. In some countries the will behead you just for being a christian. So the next time you see a member of the armed forces tell them thank you. Thank you for risking your life for mine. Thank you for saying your not going to hurt any americans. Not tonight and not on my watch. Buy them a meal or a drink if you can but no matter what tell them thank you for letting me be free. You don't have to support war to support our troops.
So thank you Chris Gee, Hahns Fisher, Charlie Younger, Tom Simonson, Lynn Larrison, George Pettyjohn, and to anyone else that has ever served this great country. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We couldn't be free without your sacrifice.
If you or anyone you know has served please click the comment link at the bottom of this post and let us know. I would like to thank all of you for serving individually for doing so. If you would like to hear from me just send an email to bryan.younger2345@gmail.com and I will do so. Also I would like to start a post with the names, ranks, branches, and places served so that others may do the same.

I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions. You say America is perfect. America is a very good place to be I will give you that – I have travelled to the US a number of times. I’m from Zimbabwe but I’ve been in New Zealand for the past 7 ½ years. Even though things are not in the best shape at the moment, I think it is the best place on earth – why? I feel free at home. It feels as if something is missing. When I visit Zimbabwe I feel a lot more complete. I put it down to being with family. My heart is with my family and for me, home is where the heart is.
As for people who risk their lives surviving a nation, I commend them. No doubt, they do play a big role in making the WORLD (not just the US) a safer place when it comes to terrorism. But, I pose a question to you. Does war bring freedom? In the course of wars countless numbers of innocent people are displaced from their homes and end up having no place to call home.

I never meant to imply that America is perfect I am just trying to say that most americans take our freedom for granted. They should be proud of their country and proud of the people that have provided them with those freedoms. This is a perfect example. In some countries just having this conversation would be cause for alarm. You could be arrested for think differently than the government. I don't think that being an american makes me better than anyone else but I do believe that our soldiers should be praised for the sacrifice they have made for our freedom. I know that in other countries soldiers aren't look at the same way as here and I don't feel that we belong in Iraq but no matter how I feel about the governments decision for war I am and will always be proud of our armed forces.
I never said America was perfect. But at least I can say what I want without fear of reprisal. I have traveled the world myself, I have been to 51 countries in my time in the military, and in my Fathers time in the military. I haven't been able to find a better place. And millions of illegal aliens can't be wrong. Everyone in the world wants to live the American dream. I can see why we aren't liked. We are the biggest kid on the block, and there's not a country in the world that can take us head on. I don't have any problem withany other country in the world, except for the French ingrateful BAstards. If it wasn't for the US and Britian those Bastards would be speaking German. The French are some pansy ass bitches.
