Not Forgotten
It has been exactly 15 years since the Oklahoma City Bombing and This morning family members and survivors gathered to remember the terrible event that transpired April 19, 1995 This is the first time I didn't go to the ceremonies with my family. Instead I went to work in hopes of forgetting about what happened some 15 years ago. Turns out that I am still deeply saddened by the whole thing and now wish that I would have been there to support my father and family. The lesson of this confession is no matter how much you my want to forget, remembrance is a foregone conclusion so be there to comfort and console those you love. Today is a day when I will be thanking God for sparing my father's life and praying for the families who lost mothers, fathers, children, or friends that day to be given strength through the Lord. We have not forgotten!!!
